The weekend is here. Stay safe East Coasters (and I suppose everyone else too). Here's some Friday Funtastic music by MC 900 Ft. Jesus. Enjoy!

Son Volt - Drown
I've been a big fan of Jay Farrar since the Uncle Tupelo days. Son Volt, Jay's next band, became an instant favorite (and they still are to this day). Here's a video off of their tremendous debut, Trace. Enjoy!

Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot & Take a Picture
How is it that I'm 325 videos into this goofy 90s blog and I haven't posted a Filter video yet? Shame on me as they are one of my favorite bands of the 90s. Here are their two big hits. Enjoy!

Frenzal Rhomb - Punch in the Face + Russel Crowe's Band
Kicking off another week of Your Forgotten Favorite with some punk rock goodness from Australia. Here's Frenzal Rhomb. Enjoy!
Awww hell, why not one more. This one's from 2003.

Machines of Loving Grace - Butterfly Wings
I couldn't think of a typical Friday Funday video today. So, we'll put the party on hold for a week and instead enjoy this industrial classic by Machines of Loving Grace. Enjoy!

Eve 6 - Inside Out
Yup. Here's Eve 6 and the "Tender Heart in a Blender" song (like you knew it was really called "Inside Out"). Enjoy!

Cake - The Distance
I was very close to including Cake in my Jump The Shark Week celebration/debacle. I just couldn't do it though. Even if I lost interest in them years ago, this track off their second album is still a fun song. Enjoy!

Cornershop - Brimful of Asha
There's nothing like a breezy Britpop song on a nice summer day...which brings me to today's selection by Cornershop. Enjoy!

Electronic - Feel Every Beat
IT'S FRIDAY FUNDAY!!!! And nothing screams Friday Funday more than New Order's Bernard Sumner rapping. It's ELECTRONIC!!! Enjoy!

Fountains of Wayne - Radiation Vibe
I have to admit, I wasn't on board with Fountains of Wayne early on. In fact, I didn't really get into them until a few years ago which is somewhat criminal as they are one fine power pop band. So watch this video from their debut record and then check out their new album Sky Full of Holes. Enjoy!

Imperial Drag - Boy Or A Girl
Well, this is kind of embarrassing...I was thinking Imperial Teen, but accidentally typed Imperial Drag into the search box on YouTube. Totally forgot about this tune. Imperial Teen post will have to wait for another day. Here's some glammy goodness instead. Enjoy!

Atari Teenage Riot - Revolution Action
It's good to be back to normal here at Your Forgotten Favorite. So that of course means I must find the most completely messed up video of the 90s to kick things off. Enter Atari Teenage Riot. Enjoy!

Chumbawamba - Tubthumping
Jump The Shark Week thankfully comes to an end...thanks for indulging me...back to normal on Monday.
I want to first state that I have a TON of respect for Chumbawamba (what they did with the money they made from selling this song to car companies and movie studios was brilliant). To be honest I can't figure out if this is the greatest or worst song of the 90s. I suspect a little of both. Enjoy?

Smash Mouth - All Star
I assure you...Jump The Shark Week ends on Friday despite how much crap I keep finding.
Nothing got me to change the channel quicker in the late 90s/early 00s than this Smash Mouth uber hit. It's not horrible in the Limp Bizkit or Crazy Town way...I suppose it's just lame like Lifehouse or Cake (both of whom were very close to being JTSW inductees...I also feel that it's appropriate for me to mock those two bands now, before I actually DO jump the shark and get desperate enough to post videos by them). Anyway, here it is. Enjoy?

Crazy Town - Butterfly
Jump The Shark Week = Oh Dear God What Have I Done
Just when you thought Jump The Shark Week couldn't get any worse, I present to you... Crazy Town. I accept the fact that you will all hate me after this one. Sorry. Enjoy?

Sugar Ray - Fly
Live every day like it's Jump The Shark Week!
Believe it or not, I was having trouble finding an utterly craptacular 90s video for today (although I did stumble upon some good ones for when this Jump The Shark Week nightmare ends). Then, while tooling around youtube, I saw those frosted spikes and proclaimed SUGAR RAY!!!! Enjoy?

Orgy - Blue Monday
Can it still be called Jump The Shark Week when it's in week two?
Believe it or not, today's induction was a request. I believe the person's exact words were something like "you should play the video of that godawful band that covered New Order." So, here's Orgy, that godawful band who covered New Order. Enjoy?
