Nothing makes me happier than seeing a great band perform live and I'm certainly seeing a great one tonight. I couldn't find any official Over The Rhine videos in the 2000s, so instead, here's a live clip of one of my favorite songs by them. Enjoy!

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps
If I was forced to make a list of my favorite songs of the 2000s, Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs would likely be in my top 5. I just love the urgency of Karen O's vocals (Nick's guitar playing and Brian Chase's drumming are pretty sweet too). Enjoy!

Tilly and the Wall - Sing Songs Along
It's Friday Funday! And what's more fun then a band that features a tap dancer instead of a drummer? Here's Tilly and the Wall!!! Enjoy!

Miranda Lambert - Kerosene & White Liar
I'm so excited for tonight's Miranda Lambert concert in Baltimore. Not only did I get to see her last summer (amazing show and where the above photo came from), but she was also my 2011 artist of the year. Here's a couple of my favorites. Enjoy!

Aimee Mann - Pavlov's Bell and Freeway
Wow! Just playing these Aimee Mann videos has me bouncing off the walls in crazy anticipation for her concert tonight. She's long been one of my favorite artists to see live and I'm really looking forward to hearing new tracks from her upcoming album, along with her solo classics. Enjoy!

Eric Hutchinson - Rock & Roll
I first saw Eric Hutchinson years ago on the Hotel Cafe tour and I got to see him again today at a private free radio station show. Here's his hit. Enjoy!

Kevin Devine - I Could Be With Anyone
I've been a big fan of Kevin Devine since the first time I saw him play live (opening for Bob Mould if I remember correctly). Over the years I've seen him play a couple more times and always enjoy chatting with him after the show. Here's a great video from his Brother's Blood cd. Enjoy!

Taking Back Sunday - Cute Without The "e" (Cut From The Team)
When talking to friends and family about music a lot of them ask me where I hear about all of these bands. When it comes to punk rock and hardcore bands, many times my answer is the same: Zines. I first started hearing about Taking Back Sunday in the long defunct Under The Volcano mag out of Long Island. It didn't take long for TBS to break out of the underground and into major publications and bigtime record deals. They deserved it. I finally got to see them play live a few years ago. What a great high energy show. So without further ado, here's one of my favorite tracks off of their debut album Tell All Your Friends. Enjoy!

Rilo Kiley - Wires and Waves & Better Son/Daughter
There's only one band that could kick off the Your Forgotten Favorite reboot -- Rilo Kiley. They were easily my favorite band of the decade (even if I hated their last album). Their first three albums still blow me away. Here's two of my favorite tracks (the second of which still kicks my ass every time I hear it). ENJOY!!!
