The Goops - Booze Cabana

OK, forgive me for one moment...OMG there were Goops videos?!?!? I love The Goops and Lucky is one of my favorite albums of the 90s. Hell, to this day, I'm known to bust out my own version of Vulgar Appetites on particularly fun/booze-filled nights (FYI, the video for VA wouldn't embed but PLEASE check it out on YouTube. Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Happy

Ned's Atomic Dustbin were one of my favorite bands of the 90s. Was lucky enough to see them on their first two U.S. tours (first tour opening for Jesus Jones!). So much fun. Their God Fodder album still gets plenty of plays at my house. Enjoy!

The Spinanes - Noel, Jonah and Me

The Spinanes were one of the very few Sub Pop bands in the early 90s that weren't associated with the grunge movement. Rebecca Gates has such a cool and smooth vocal delivery. This song is off their fantastic Manos album. Enjoy!

Portishead - Sour Times

Nothing that I type here can can do justice to the awesomeness that is Portishead. Beth Gibbons' beautiful and haunting vocals meld seamlessly with the bands equally beautiful and haunting music. Here's the song "everyone" knows, feel free to dig deeper (particularly if it's on their second self-titled album which is my favorite). Enjoy!

Charlatans - Weirdo

I know YFF has only been around for a little over a month, but it took me WAY too long to post a Charlatans video. One of the consistently great UK bands of the past two decades (and they are still going strong). Weirdo and it's awesome keys was always a favorite. Enjoy!
