The Cardigans - My Favourite Game

Haven't seen this video by The Cardigans in a long time. What better time than now. Enjoy!

Swervedriver - Rave Down

It's a shame Adam Franklin and his band Swervedriver never took over the music world. This is one of the coolest tracks of the 90s. Enjoy!

Dramarama - Work for Food

OK, I was all set to be clever and play the video for Dramarama's What Are We Going to Do (the first line for those who don't know is "It's April 21st and everyone knows today is Earth Day...). I guess the memory is fuzzy, because there was no video for it. So, here's a much better Dramarama song. Enjoy!

Eve's Plumb - Blue

I always liked Eve's Plumb. Colleen Fitzpatrick's vocals range from sweet to killer...just the way I like it. Enjoy!

Archers of Loaf - Web in Front

The Archers of Loaf are one of my five favorite bands ever. Here's the tune that hooked me. Enjoy!

Therapy? - Teethgrinder

I don't think I've heard Therapy? in about 10 years. Not quite sure why this tune popped into my head today either, but I'm glad it did. Enjoy!

The Meat Puppets - Sam

Here was my introduction to the legendary Meat Puppets in 1991. Saw them open for Nirvana back in the day and again last summer...they still have it. Enjoy!

Cop Shoot Cop - $10 Bill

This Cop Shoot Cop video just may be the strangest video I've ever seen. Enjoy!

The Goops - Booze Cabana

OK, forgive me for one moment...OMG there were Goops videos?!?!? I love The Goops and Lucky is one of my favorite albums of the 90s. Hell, to this day, I'm known to bust out my own version of Vulgar Appetites on particularly fun/booze-filled nights (FYI, the video for VA wouldn't embed but PLEASE check it out on YouTube. Anyway, here's Booze Cabana from their S/T album. Enjoy!

Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Happy

Ned's Atomic Dustbin were one of my favorite bands of the 90s. Was lucky enough to see them on their first two U.S. tours (first tour opening for Jesus Jones!). So much fun. Their God Fodder album still gets plenty of plays at my house. Enjoy!

The Spinanes - Noel, Jonah and Me

The Spinanes were one of the very few Sub Pop bands in the early 90s that weren't associated with the grunge movement. Rebecca Gates has such a cool and smooth vocal delivery. This song is off their fantastic Manos album. Enjoy!

Portishead - Sour Times

Nothing that I type here can can do justice to the awesomeness that is Portishead. Beth Gibbons' beautiful and haunting vocals meld seamlessly with the bands equally beautiful and haunting music. Here's the song "everyone" knows, feel free to dig deeper (particularly if it's on their second self-titled album which is my favorite). Enjoy!

Charlatans - Weirdo

I know YFF has only been around for a little over a month, but it took me WAY too long to post a Charlatans video. One of the consistently great UK bands of the past two decades (and they are still going strong). Weirdo and it's awesome keys was always a favorite. Enjoy!

Helium - XXX

It's hard to believe that the first time I heard this song by Helium it was on Beavis and Butt-head. Regardless, I thought the song XXX was awesome...still do. Enjoy!

Suede - Metal Mickey

Suede were always one of the more intriguing bands of the early 90s (and beyond...looks like they just reformed). Metal Mickey was my introduction to them. Enjoy!

Letters to Cleo - Here and Now

Letters to Cleo were such a fun band. It's good to see Kay Hanley is still making music (her new band Palmdale just released their first ep). Anyway, here's LTC's hit tune. Enjoy!

Killing Joke - Pandemonium

Debated posting an April Fools "Forgotten Favorite" video today, but: a) It's overdone and b) I'm not clever enough to pull it off (youtube puts the the song title/band on the big box you click on which pretty much guarantees that I had no chance of Rickrolling you). So here's Killing Joke instead. Enjoy!
